A primary suite and living room designed around the view — the bay, the hills, the particular quality of northern California light.

The clients wanted rooms that disappeared into the landscape. We used a restrained palette of linen, stone, and bleached oak to let the panorama do the work. Every piece of furniture was chosen for how it sits against the view at different hours of the day.
